The house features a large focal <br />window, decorative vents, eves with little or no overhangs, red tile roofs, prominent arches over window and doors, and stucco <br />walls. The building appears to be in nearly original condition including all the windows, except for an addition made to the side in <br />1967, when a patio was enclosed. The garage was originally detached and one story as shown on the 1950 Sanborn map. The <br />original construction permit was not located at the Redwood City Community Development Department and the designer is <br />unknown. The house was built in 1931. The detached one-story garage was probably constructed during the house’s construction. <br />An addtion was made to the garage in 1937 and the second story may have been added then.
