ATTY/ORD.437/ORDINANCE ADOPDTING & AMENDING ZA – LEVEL OF REVIEW <br />REV: 11-18-16 VR <br />Page 8 of 28 <br />1.8 - Planning Commission Approval of Environmental Documents Combined with Permit Approval. Notwithstanding any other provision in this Zoning Ordinance, applications for which an environmental document must be approved shall be acted upon by the Planning Commission concurrently and together with environmental review and shall not be separated nor heard, acted upon or determined separately. Appeals from actions of the Planning Commission regarding environmental determinations and on projects subject thereto shall be to the City Council and shall be filed processed and heard in accordance with the provisions of Article 48 of this Zoning Ordinance. An appeal of any environmental determination shall be considered and processed as an appeal of all actions on the project subject thereto. An appeal of any action on a project for which an environmental document is required shall be considered and processed as an appeal on the environmental determination. [Moved to Article 41 (Common Procedures)] 1.8 - Severability. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect any other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provisions or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable.
