America SCORES believes that all children deserve the opportunity to be part of a
team, to play sports, to express themselves, and to give back to their communities. Through the universal appeal of
soccer and poetry, and with the guidance of caring adult coaches, America SCORES "poet-athletes" play on a soccer
team, write and share poetry, and complete meaningful service-learning projects. While learning and playing with
their teammates, they laugh, smile, and grow; they discover the beauty of their individual voices and gain a sense of
belonging to their team and school community.
REV: 10-28-16 JS
Page 9of10
ATIY/AGR.2016.305/America Scores
