<br />Councilman Greenalch presented plaques to Rahn Becker and Sibyl Schutz <br />and thanked them for their service. Rahn Becker and Sibyl Schtuz both <br />thanked the Council. <br /> <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Ginny Pestoni-Hughes, 18 Admiralty, questioned fees charged by a tow <br />company for towing cars in the downtown area. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Bill Gibbons, 2010 Stockbridge, requested the opportunity to talk with <br />Council about the PCA. <br /> <br />MEMO 7/9/91 <br /> <br />C. Jessica Seyfried, 20 Spinnaker Place, requested Council assistance to work <br />on the noise problem in Redwood Shores generated from the San Carlos <br />Airport. Mayor La Berge advised that this subject would be discussed under <br />item #6. <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />Councilman Murray requested information about towing regulations in <br />Redwood City and if posting requirements by landowners could provide more <br />specific information. City Attorney Schricker advised that he will look <br />into this matter. Police Chief Guardino stated that towing regulations for <br />private lots were regulated by the Department of Motor Vehicles. <br />City Attorney Schricker stated that State law covers the Motor Vehicle <br />code. Vice Mayor Bury received a phone call regarding weed growth and fire <br />hazards and a letter from the American Legion Post #105 concerning a number <br />of items. Both matters were referred to City staff. <br /> <br />MEMO 7/9/91 <br /> <br />B. Councilman Murray presented the Draft Congestion Management Plan. <br />The Mayor will be attending the meeting as an alternate member for <br />Councilman Murray since he will be out of town. Councilman Murray <br />recommends voting for the plan. <br /> <br />MEMO 7/9/91 <br /> <br />C. Mayor La Berge requested volunteers for a council subcommittee on <br />airport noise.
