<br />B. Chestnut Street Reconstruction <br /> <br />Report: Community Development Director Pawloski, 6/20/91, 6/21/91, 6/24/91, <br />and 6/25/91 <br /> <br />City Engineer Curt Luck presented the staff reports. Tables 1, 2, and 3 <br />were explained in further detail. Water conservation measures will be <br />used for this project. A citizens and merchants committee will be formed <br />and an information meeting held on July 23. Groundbreaking for <br />this project will be early August. <br /> <br />Councilman Greenalch expressed concern with the yearly 10% pay increase <br />for the contract inspector on this project since the City is facing budget <br />constraints. <br /> <br />M/S Murray/Stangel to waive reading of 8B items one through six <br />and adopt resolutions. <br /> <br />(1) Motion to authorize revised agreement for acquisition of right-of-way <br />at southwest corner of Chestnut Street and Veterans Boulevard <br />Intersection <br /> <br />(2) RESOLUTION NO. 11559 ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CHESTNUT STREET <br />RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS (702-02) <br />(3) RESOLUTION NO. 11560 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND GEORGE S.
