STAFF REPORT <br /> Finance Director Ramchandani presented the staff report. Melinda C. Rose of <br /> American Appraisal Company in Walnut Creek presented a report on the assessed <br /> values by type as percent of total valuation. In response to questions from <br /> Council Members, Ms. Rose described the appraisal industry practices and <br /> processes. The differences between the County of San Mateo assessment and <br /> American Appraisal Company assessment of the same properties was discussed by <br /> Council Members, staff and representatives from American Appraisal Company, <br /> including Robert Barrett. (903-04) <br />2. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> A. DISTRICT ASSESSMENT ROLL FISCAL YEAR 1991-92 <br /> (1) Mayor La Berge declared the Public Hearing open at 7:45 p.m. and invited <br /> anyone who wished to speak to please do so.
