<br /> ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> Service League of San Mateo County <br /> Hope House 1 - 3789 Hoover Fire Safety and ADA <br /> Hope House 3 - 3787 A and B Hoover <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~day of O~ , <br />2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Service League of San Mateo County, a <br />California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"); <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor desires to renovate/improve their facilities (the "Project), <br />located at Hope House 1 - 3789 Hoover, Redwood City, California, and Hope House 3- <br />3787 A and B Hoover, Redwood City, California, which provides services to special needs <br />populations who are individuals released from penal institutions and who are residents of <br />the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to complete the <br />Project that will benefit residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2003, and <br />ending June 30, 2004; and <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and the Project and desires to allocate to <br />Contractor the sum of Fifty Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($50,000) Development Block for <br />the Hope House I Project and Twenty Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($20,000) for the Hope <br />House 3 Project from its Community Grant funds. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />9/11/03 1 <br />.- - - -- ..
