<br /> 1·g,g <br /> problems with the services to existing commercial buildings and existing irrigation <br /> systems that could require the installation of individual pressure reducing <br /> assemblies on services or other remedial work. The City will coordinate this <br /> work with the implementation of the recycled water project. <br />· Environmental (CEQAlNEPA) related work and reporting has been previously <br /> performed by the City, and the mitigation requirements will be incorporated into <br /> the design and technical specifications. <br />· Permits coordination and acquisition will be provided by the City for design <br /> fieldwork and construction of pipelines in City rights-of-way. <br />Work by Subconsultants <br />· Aerial photography, surveying and mapping is included and will be performed by <br /> our subconsultant, Mark Thomas & Company, located in Redwood City. <br />· Potholing services for selected existing utilities are included and will be <br /> performed by our subconsultant, Miller Pipeline, using vacuum excavation <br /> techniques. They will obtain encroachment permits from the City. It is <br /> understood that the City will waive all permit fees. The excavations will be <br /> patched with a cold patch. <br />· The surveying and potholing schedules will be provided to the project web site. <br />Work by Others <br />· A surge control analysis and improvement recommendations will be provided by <br /> SBSA's design team, and their recommendations will be reviewed and <br /> incorporated into the design of the new recycled water pipeline system. <br />Contract Documents and Technical Specifications <br />· Contract documents and technical specifications to be used for Project include: <br /> · City's Bidding and Contract Documents <br /> · City's General and Supplemental Conditions <br /> · City's drafting standards and potable water system pipeline design details will <br /> be used as the basis for new recycled water design work and details. <br /> · City's Technical Specifications, supplemented with Kennedy/Jenks' Technical <br /> Specifications were required. <br /> · Kennedy/Jenks' Design Drawings. <br />Other assumptions as stated on the enclosed tables and Scope of Services. <br />Agreement over $10K 13 <br />KennedyJenks Rev-2 112603 <br />.~- -,.-- - _. .._-- . __" ._.
