The community is invited to join in this important discussion at the following meeting: CONSOLIDATED PLAN COMMUNITY MEETING Wednesday, November 5, 2014 — 7:00 PM City Hall — Redwood City Council Chambers 1017 Middlefield Road Redwood City, CA 94063 This is part of a broad community outreach effort in preparation of the city's 2015-2020 "Consolidated Plan" for the use of federal housing and community development funds. The city receives nearly a million dollars each year from the federal Department of Housing and Community Development. These funds are available for elements such as affordable housing, home rehabilitation, homeless services, and public facilities improvement, as well as to support social service programs. Community input is critical to shaping how these funds are used over the next five years. In addition to the meeting, the City has created an online survey to allow residents to provide input on community needs. The survey can be accessed from the City's web page at www.redwoodcitv.orci/phed/housing.. The survey will provide the opportunity for written responses and comments in addition to "check the box" questions.
