The City Council hereby finds that the structures and <br /> properties located at 847-849 Main Street, 935 Main Street, and 1101 Main <br /> Street, Redwood City do meet the historic designation criteria established by the <br /> Redwood City Historic Preservation Ordinance as follows: <br /> They exemplify and reflect special elements of the City's cultural, <br /> aesthetic or architectural history; and <br /> They embody distinctive characteristics of a style, type, period and <br /> method of construction, and are a valuable example of the use of <br /> indigenous materials or craftsmanship; and <br /> Section 6. The City Council hereby designates the structures and <br /> properties located at 847-849 Main Street, 935 Main Street, and 1101 Main <br /> Street, Redwood City, California as Historic Landmarks pursuant to Chapter 40 <br /> of the Redwood City Code. <br /> Section 7. The City Council directs staff to file all proper documents for <br /> recordation with the San Mateo County Clerk's Office. <br /> Section 8 .
