Kim Wilkins, J & S Management, 702 Marshall Street, expressed concern over <br />lack of information regarding the downtown parking structure and loss of <br />land. City Attorney advised that the Planning Commission will have a <br />meeting tomorrow and advised that questions may be addressed there. (203-01) <br /> <br />City Manager Everett emphasized that all questions will be addressed. <br /> <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />6. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br /> <br />A. Councilman Murray advised that he will not be able to attend the <br />City/County Association of Governments this week and thanked the Mayor for <br />for attending in his place. <br /> <br />B. Councilman Stangel reported on the Congress of Cities meeting and on Solid <br />Waste he attended. <br /> <br />C. Mayor La Berge attended the Atherton City Council Study Session on <br />December 4 regarding ground water levels. Atherton is concerned with the <br />increasing number of requests for drilling of wells which affects the water <br />basin of Redwood City and Menlo Park. Council voted to join with nearby <br />communities to decide whether measures to study the ground water level <br />are worth the cost. <br /> <br />D. Mayor La Berge attended two fine local theatre productions the "Wizard of <br />Oz" at the Fox Theatre and "Raices de Mexico" at Sequoia High School. <br /> <br />E.
