EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Funding for this agreement has been granted from the San Mateo County Health System, <br /> Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services to support the Redwood City and <br /> North Fair Oaks Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Partnership. <br /> Youth Leadership Institute will work in collaboration with the AOD Abuse Prevention Partnership <br /> to build program capacity in increasing assets and resilience of vulnerable populations through <br /> youth development, to increase the number of youth involved in positive leadership and skill- <br /> building opportunities, and to provide training and technical assistance for adult leaders and <br /> program providers in youth development programs in the community. <br /> Youth Leadership Institute specific tasks will include: <br /> • Support a minimum of six (6) Friday Night Live ("FNL") chapters with technical <br /> assistance in Redwood City/North Fair Oaks ("NFO"). <br /> • Conduct 12 trainings for FNL adult advisors in 4 Redwood City/NFO locations to <br /> increase and improve their use and implementation of evidence-based Standards of <br /> Practice (SOP) in their work with youth. Outcomes will be measured through a pre- and <br /> post- FNL Youth Development Survey which shall be conducted and completed by YLI . <br /> • YLI staff will conduct the 2016-2017 FNL Youth Development Survey with FNL youth <br /> participants, in collaboration with FNL Chapter Advisors to implement the surveys. YLI <br /> will generate a 2016-2017 Youth Development Survey report specific to the RWC/NFO <br /> chapters. <br /> • Conduct one 3-part Training Series designed to build capacity for and provide success <br /> for the RWC/NFO youth-adult Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Partnership to <br /> undertake an Environmental Prevention Project in the community. <br /> • YLI staff will attend monthly Prevention Partnership Steering Committee meetings. <br /> • Ensure appropriate County reporting and data collection requirements are met including <br /> but not limited to entering and maintaining monthly CaIOMS records. <br /> • Complete other tasks related the Redwood City 2020 AOD Prevention Partnership as <br /> assigned and agreed upon by Youth Leadership Institute and Redwood City 2020. <br /> Consultant will invoice Redwood City 2020 twice per fiscal year, providing documentation of <br /> actions taken during the preceding invoice period.
