<br /> <br /> Type of vessel/structure <br /> Size <br /> Age <br /> Quality <br /> Condition <br /> <br />What are the qualifications of the appraisers? <br /> <br />Two appraisers will determine the fair market value of your property: 1) a tangible <br />asset/personal property appraiser; and 2) a marine appraiser. The qualifications for <br />each are as follows: <br /> <br />MARCUS R. PIGROM, ASA <br />SENIOR MANAGER, TANGIBLE ASSETS <br />Mr. Pigrom joined appraising firm Desmond, Marcello & Amster in 2005 as a personal <br />property and fixtures and equipment appraiser and became senior manager, tangible <br />assets in 2009. He has successfully completed hundreds of appraisal assignments <br />and his appraisal experience includes a wide variety of personal property and <br />business types in the manufacturing, retail and service sectors. Representative <br />projects include the appraisal of mobile homes and other livable personal property, <br />industrial machinery and equipment, medical facilities and service stations. His <br />experience includes coordinating appraisal activities with real estate appraisers <br />identify commercial and residential improvements for purposes of compensation. <br /> <br />Mr. Pigrom has prepared residential personal property and fixture and equipment <br />appraisals for numerous agencies across California including Caltrans, Los Angeles <br />Metropolitan Transportation Authority, City of Hayward, City of Santa Ana Public <br />Works, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority, the City of Capitola, and Port <br />San Luis Harbor District. <br /> <br />Professional Affiliations <br />Mr. Pigrom is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) of the American Society of <br />Appraisers in the Machinery and Technical Specialties discipline. <br /> <br />JEFF KEISER <br />PRINCIPAL MARINE SURVEYOR <br />Mr. Keiser has worked in the marine industry for more than 21 years. He has <br />captained research vessels and numerous pleasure charters in the Caribbean, Puget <br />Sound and San Francisco.
