PLANNERS
June 14, 2016
Steve Morioka
Comcast Regional Construction
1900 S. 1P Street
San Jose, CA 95112
Subject: Redwood City Street Closure
Dear Sir:
This letter requests review and approval of the proposed mapping revisions associated with the closure of
portions of Buckeye, Hancock, and Spruce Streets in Redwood City, outlined in red on the attached Vesting
Tentative Parcel Map. If and when the City vacates these streets, a parcel map will be recorded which merges
the area of the streets into the adjacent Butler Realty property.
The City requires the project team to confirm with all franchise utilities that said companies will not require
additional property changes, designations, easements, orthe like as a result of these proposed mapping
revisions.
The following existing Redwood City utilities will be removed and replaced or modified as a part of the Butler
project:
1. Removal of a pole in Spruce Street and relocation of service to the adjacent property at 1681 Main
Street as shown on the attached exhibit.
2. Removal of an overhead line across Hancock Street and associated poles in Buckeye Street as shown on
the attached exhibit.
Please review the attached information to verify that Comcast accepts the change in right-of-way and won't
require additional modifications. Following review and verification, please sign and date the lines below as
Comcast's confirmation of the utility clearance described within this letter and the attached exhibit.
Sincerely,
SKF Engineers
Michael Coughlin
255 Shoreline Drive, Suite 200, Redwood City, CA 94065 1650.482.6300
Page 21 of 28
ATTY/RESO.0122/CC RESO HANCOCK STREET, SPRUCE STREET, AND BUCKEYE STREET PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY
REV: 12-06-16 RL
