I AMENDMENT NO.3 TO EXTEND AND AMEND AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL PLANNING AND REDEVELOPMENT CONSULTING SERVICES (Liedstrand Associates) This Amendment No. 3 is entered into and effective as of the lfJIÂ day of December 2003, extending and amending the agreement dated June 10, 2001 (the "Agreement") by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City, a political subdivision of the State of California ("Agency") and Bruce W. Liedstrand, dba Liedstrand Associates ("Contractor") (collectively, the "Parties") for professional planning and redevelopment consulting services. RECITALS WHEREAS, Contractor has performed the services under the Agreement to the satisfaction of the City and Agency; and WHEREAS, the City and Agency continue to require Contractor's professional services; and WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 to Extend and Amend the Agreement ("Amendment No.1), authorizes the City Manager and Executive Director to amend the Agreement to extend it for three (3) additional one (1) year periods and to either increase or decrease the not-to-exceed compensation amount by 7% of the compensation amount for the prior Agreement year. WHEREAS, the Parties desire to alter the Agreement to extend the Agreement for a period of one (1) year and to increase the monthly not-to-exceed compensation amount by 1.000% of the compensation amount for the prior Agreement year. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants contained herein, City, Agency and Contractor agree as follows: 1. That the Agreement is hereby extended for a period of one (1) year ending on December 10, 2004 on a time and materials basis not-to-exceed twelve thousand two hundred fifty-nine dollars ($12,382) per month. Contractor will be compensated at a rate of $96.73 per hour. 2. All other provisions of the Agreement and prior Amendments will remain in full force and effect. 3.
