DES:jsd:3/16/68 <br />RES GLUT ION NO, 56V4 <br />RESOLUTION DEFINING AND ESTABLISHING A "SPHERE OF <br />INFLUENCE" FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County <br />of San Mateo, California, has requested a written statement and a <br />map defining and establishing a "sphere of influence" for the City <br />of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the aforesaid request, the Planning <br />Commission of the City of Redwood City has studied and reviewed <br />said request and submitted its recommendations; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed said recommendations, <br />desires to signify its approval thereof, and adopt said recommen- <br />dations as a statement defining and establishing a "sphere of <br />influence" for the City of Redwood City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1, This Council hereby approves the findings and recommen- <br />dations of the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City <br />contained in its report to this Council dated March 14, 1968, (a <br />copy of which report is on file in the Office of the Planning <br />Department), defining the sphere of influence of the City of <br />Redwood City; and this Council hereby adopts said report as its <br />statement defining and establishing a "sphere of influence" for <br />the City of Redwood City, which "sphere of influence" is geo- <br />graphically delineated by the outer boundaries shown on the <br />plat attached hereto, marked Exhibit A, and incorporated herein <br />by this reference. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy <br />of this resolution and a copy of the above mentioned report to <br />the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission <br />of San Mateo County. <br />
