DES:yc:3/22/68 <br />R E S O L U T I O N N O. �14& <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ATTACHED STRUCTURE LOCATED AT <br />1128-30 MC KINLEY STREET IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE, DIRECTING THE OWNER TO <br />ABATE SAID NUISANCE, AND ORDERING THE EXPENSE OF <br />ABATEMENT TO BE MADE A LIEN UPON THE LAND IN THE <br />EVENT THE NUISANCE IS NOT ABATED BY THE OWNER <br />WHEREAS, the Building Inspector of the City of Redwood City <br />has initiated proceedings pursuant to the provisions of Article II <br />of Chapter 9 of the Code of the City of Redwood City with respect <br />to the structure attached to the main building located at <br />1128-30 McKinley Street in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of a hearing has been given in accordance <br />with Section 9.7 of Article II of Chapter 9 of the Code of the <br />City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has conducted a hearing and heard tes- <br />timony concerning the condition of said structure and the estimated <br />costs of abatement by repair, reconstruction or removal in accor- <br />dance with the provisions of Section 9.8 of Article II of Chapter 9 <br />of the Code of the City of Redwood City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. This Council hereby finds that the wooden structure <br />attached to the main building located at 1128-30 McKinley Street <br />(Lots 6, 7, 8 of Block 2, Resubdivision of Lot 16, Wooster, <br />Whitton and Montgomery's Subdivision) is so dilapidated through <br />old age, neglect, misuse, deterioration and decay as to be danger- <br />ous to the public, unsafe, untenantable, a health hazard, a fire <br />hazard, and to constitute a public nuisance. <br />This Council further finds that said structure is structurally <br />unsafe and fails to comply with the structural requirements of <br />
