DE S:yc:1/31/68 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5` <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FITTINGS, <br />BRASS, AWWA; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL <br />FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br />specifications for "Fittings, Brass, AWWA" to be used by the <br />Water Department for municipal purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to <br />signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to <br />advertise for bids for the furnishing of said equipment; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE. IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain specifications prepared in the office of <br />the City Manager and on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br />consisting of notice of sealed bids, instructions to bidders and <br />general conditions and agreement, for the furnishing of "Fittings, <br />Brass, AWWA" to be used by the Water Department for municipal <br />purposes, are hereby approved. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />call for bids for the furnishing of said equipment designated <br />in the aforementioned specifications. <br />
