office of the City Engineer in accordance with the report and <br />recommendations of Shannon & Wilson, Inc., Soil Mechanics and <br />Foundation Engineers, and on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br />for4the construction of said improvements, are hereby approved. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />advertise for bids for the performance of said work, in accordance <br />with the plans and specifications therefor, said advertisement <br />to be in the form of that certain "Notice to Contractors" set <br />forth in the above mentioned specifications. <br />3. Award of bid for the construction of the improvements <br />provided for in the plans and specifications approved in para- <br />graph 1 hereof shall be made only upon the condition that all <br />terms and conditions be fulfilled as set forth in the City's <br />amended letter of instructions to escrow to be filed in connection <br />with the acquisition of lots 14 and 15, Block 1, Farm Hill Sub- <br />division No. 5. <br />- 2 - <br />
