S1�-3 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FURNISHING <br />OF LIQUID CHLORINE FOR THE PERIOD APRIL 1, 1968, THROUGH <br />MARCH 31, 1969; AND, AUTHORIZING CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the operation of the Redwood <br />City Sewage Treatment Plant it is necessary to enter into a <br />contract for the supplying of liquid chlorine for the period <br />April 1, 1968 through March 31, 1969; and <br />WHEREAS, specifications for the type of, and estimated <br />amounts of, liquid chlorine required for such period have been <br />prepared by the City Manager; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain specifications for liquid chlorine to <br />be used by the Redwood City Sewage Treatment Plant for the <br />period April 1, 1968 through March 31, 1969, prepared by the <br />City Manager and on file in the office of the City Clerk, are <br />hereby approved. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />advertise for bids for the furnishing of said liquid chlorine <br />in accordance with the specifications therefor, said advertise- <br />ment to be in the form of that certain notice of sealed bids <br />set forth in the above mentioned specifications. <br />
