6.1.B. - Page 4 <br />sunlight <br />giving <br />October 13, 2016 <br />Ms. Melissa Stevenson Diaz <br />City Manager <br />City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community Center <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />Dear Ms. Stevenson Diaz, <br />On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Sunlight Giving, I am pleased to inform you that a multi-year <br />grant in the total amount of $225,000 has been approved for City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community <br />Center. <br />City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community Center agrees to: <br />• Use the grant for support of the Information and Referral Program, $75,000 per year for three <br />years; <br />• Sign and either email or mail a hard copy of this grant agreement, acknowledging your receipt of <br />enclosed check #2320 in the amount of $75,000 to Stacey Angeles, Grants Manager no later than <br />November 07, 2016; <br />• Only use the grant funds for purposes that are consistent with the federal and state rules for tax <br />exempt status; <br />• Have your organization, logo and grant information listed on the Sunlight Giving website; and <br />• Adhere to the Grant Communication Guidelines included with this letter for recognition and <br />media related to Sunlight Giving and the grant. <br />Subsequent payments will be distributed according the following schedule. Sunlight Giving staff may <br />schedule a meeting or request information prior to release of these payments: <br />Payment Schedule Amount <br />1 October 10, 2016 $75,000.00 <br />2 October 02, 2017 $75,000.00 <br />3 October 01, 2018 $75,000.00 <br />The foundation is extremely pleased and honored to support the work of City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks <br />Community Center.
