01/09/2017 <br />WHEREAS, the efforts of the Closing the Jobs -Housing Gap Task Force have <br />resulted in the creation of the Home for All San Mateo County Initiative launched in <br />September 2016 with a housing policy resource center, a community engagement <br />campaign, and a regional action plan to implement a variety of strategies to produce <br />and preserve housing at all income levels; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has identified affordable housing as a <br />priority and is committed to continue working on housing issues by collaborating with <br />jurisdictions and community members to implement the strategies put forth in the Home <br />for All San Mateo County Initiative and support the initiative. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Commits to continue to work with other jurisdictions in the County to <br />address the housing crisis on a regional basis, including through ongoing support of the <br />Home for All San Mateo County Initiative. <br />2.
