2. By Motion, approve professional engineering services agreement with <br /> Kennedy/Jenks Consultants for Recycled Water Project — Customer Retrofit and <br /> Program Support Services — Phase One, and authorize the City Manager to sign <br /> agreement. The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote by those <br /> present. MINUTE ORDER 04-163 <br /> 8. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br /> A. Legislation (information only) - This sub-section involves possible discussion of <br /> City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of Califomia <br /> Cities Priority Focus Bulletin No. 31-2004 and 32-2004. Council may direct staff <br /> to act on positions taken by Council. (Copies of League of Califomia Cities <br /> Priority Focus available in City Clerk's Department). <br /> B. Mayor Ira on behalf of Vice Mayor Pierce — announced the Victorian Days <br /> event to be held at the courthouse on Saturday, August 28 from 10:00 a.m. to <br /> 4:00 p.m. with live music, historical reenactments, and various other activities and <br /> entertainment. <br /> C. Council Member Foust — stated her concern with the high level of mosquito <br /> infestation in Redwood Shores at this time. She stated that spraying is being <br /> done and for further information to contact the County office or website. <br /> 9.
