City of Redwood City and County of San Mateo CSA-8 Garfield School Landscaping – August 1, 2016 <br /> <br />REV: 12-19-16 JS Page 10 <br /> <br />Agreement No. <br />Exhibit A <br />Agreement between the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City. <br />1. Description of Services to be Performed by Contractor <br />In consideration of the payments set forth in Section 2, Exhibit A, Amount and Method of Payment, <br />Contractor shall provide the following services: <br />Contractor (City of Redwood City) shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials and <br />supervision necessary to provide complete and continuous care of all lawn, trees shrubs and ground covers, <br />for on-going maintenance and other landscaping services at Garfield School Playing Fields as per attached <br />Proposal “Exhibit B”. Contractor shall submit a cost report of any additional work and the additional work <br />shall be authorized in writing by the Director of the Office of Sustainability or his designated representative <br />before said work is performed. <br />Contractor shall walk the entire site each month with a County representative to ensure that all operations <br />are being completed in a satisfactory manner. <br />Contractor shall obtain all license and permits required by City, County, State and School District <br />authorities. <br />The term of this Agreement is for July 1, 2016 through July 1, 2018 at the fees quoted on the attached <br />Proposal dated August 1, 2016, which is attached hereto as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by reference. <br />July’s payment will be paid using the previous rate schedule. <br />2. Amount and Method of Payment <br /> <br />In consideration of the services provided by Contractor pursuant to Section 1, Exhibit A, Description of <br />Services to be Performed by Contractor, and subject to the terms of the Agreement, County shall pay <br />Contractor based on the following schedule and terms: <br /> <br />Please see attached “Exhibit B” for rate schedule. <br /> <br />Payment shall be made upon receipt of a written itemized invoice identifying the County project number, <br />complete scope of work, specific work completed, number of hours involved and breakdown of charges. <br /> <br />In any event the total payment for service shall not exceed $69,250.00 (Sixty Nine Thousand, Two Hundred <br />and Fifty Dollars and 00/100 cents). <br /> <br />In any event, the County shall have the right to withhold payment if the County determines that the <br />quantity and/or quality of the work performed is unacceptable. <br />ATTY/2016.332/COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br />6.1.B. - Page 12
