C. Monitor quality and consistency of service delivery; <br />D. Serve as planning and problem solving group for the initiative; <br />E. Take responsibility for designing the evaluation of the initiative and collecting and <br />monitoring data; <br />F. Make decisions about the equitable allocation of resources in support of initiative <br />goals; <br />G. Assist with "messaging" about the work: accurate, consistent, culturally sensitive; <br />and <br />H. Work closely with community partners to support and build capacity as the initiative <br />is implemented. <br />IV. IMPLEMENTATION <br />A. Partner obligations: <br />1. Attend and participate in Steering Committee meetings. <br />2. Facilitate the integration of LIBRE outreach into the community school goals of <br />the Redwood City School District, act as a liaison between the schools and LIBRE partners to <br />implement the promotora outreach and on-site office efforts, and follow up with the <br />partners to collect data and reports for evaluation of the project. <br />3. Take on Steering Committee tasks, which include helping to identify and apply <br />for funding to meet the LIBRE budget, to support the success of the LIBRE initiative. <br />4. Assist in the dissemination of educational materials to the immigrant <br />communities of Redwood City and Fair Oaks. <br />5. Act as an ambassador for the LIBRE Project. <br />B. LASSMC obligations: <br />1. Provide training for Partner needed to provide the outreach activities, provide <br />the LIBRE materials, and attend the outreach events as needed and available. <br />2. Provide consultation for Partner staff about organizing outreach activities and <br />provide LIBRE materials. <br />3. Serve as fiscal agent between the Grove Foundation and Partner for the current <br />fiscal year of the LIBRE initiative. <br />4. Compile the data for use in reports. <br />5. Attend and participate in monthly Steering Committee meetings. <br />6. Take on Steering Committee tasks to support the success of the LIBRE initiative. <br />V. INDEMNIFICATION AND INSURANCE <br />The Partner will maintain general liability and other insurance appropriate for its <br />activities under this MOLI. The Partner will indemnify, defend, and hold LASSMC, and its <br />directors, officers, employees, agents, and assigns, harmless against all claims, liabilities, losses, <br />damages, and expenses, including, without limitation, claims arising from death or personal <br />injury, attorneys' fees, and taxes and insurance contributions for which it has responsibility plus <br />penalties and interest, which may arise directly or indirectly from (i) any breach by the Partner <br />of this MCU, (ii) any other act or omission by the Partner, (iii) any claims by suppliers, or <br />REV: 07-19-16 RL <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
