01/23/2017 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15560 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br />FOR THE CITY MANAGER TO PROVIDE FOR ADJUSTMENTS TO <br />SALARY AND BENEFITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to its authority, the Redwood City Council periodically <br />determines whether to make adjustments to the salary and benefits plan for the appointed <br />positions of City Manager, City Attorney, and City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted an annual performance evaluation of <br />the City Manager, and reviewed compensation with respect to survey data of comparable <br />positions in benchmark Cities; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council seeks to acknowledge the performance of the City <br />Manager and ensure that salary remains competitive and in appropriate alignment with <br />other City classifications. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The First Amendment to City Manager Employment Agreement, attached <br />hereto, to effectuate the salary and benefit adjustments is approved; and <br />2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the First Amendment to City <br />Manager Employment Agreement, attached hereto. <br />3.
