EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant will provide actuarial consulting services related to OPEB liabilities for the City. <br />Consultant shall: <br />Amend report from the June 30, 2017 actuarial valuation using projected rates for <br />Industrial Disability Retirement, using the historical data from the City's 2006, 2008, 2011, <br />2013, 2015, and 2017 actuarial results. <br />Provide valuations for two alternative scenarios, as directed by the City, for retiree health <br />benefits: <br />o Change Safetv IDR Benefit from familv to sinole coveraae <br />o Cap the retiree health benefit for all emolovees at 90% of the Kaiser Emolov_ ee- <br />only rate <br />Estimated Fees <br />Consultant fees for the above -listed work shall not exceed $6,500. Additional cost scenarios may <br />be added at the City's direction, and estimated fees will be $1,000-$1,500 per added scenario. <br />Total fees for all work shall not exceed $10,000. <br />Consultant will bill the City at the following hourly rates: <br />President <br />$330 <br />Partner & Vice President <br />$280 <br />Assistant Vice President <br />$250 <br />Associate Actuary <br />$200 <br />Senior Actuarial Analyst <br />$180 <br />Actuarial Analyst <br />$150 <br />There will be no additional charges for expenses (e.g. travel, telephone, copying, etc.) <br />The hourly rates above include costs for these items.
