C. SCOPE OF WORK <br />LSA will undertake the following tasks, as <br />identified in Table 1, Work Program Outline, <br />and described in greater detail below, for <br />preparation of the EIR and Initial Study for the <br />proposed project. <br />TASK A. PROJECT INITIATION <br />Project initiation will consist of several tasks, <br />including attendance at a project start-up <br />meeting, a site visit/field surveys, and data <br />gathering and review. The project description <br />for the EIR, which will also be used for the <br />Notice of Preparation (NOP) and Initial Study <br />will also be prepared as part of project <br />initiation subtasks. <br />1. Start -Up Meeting/Site Visit <br />LSA attended a start-up meeting with City <br />staff on February 7, 2017. At this meeting, the <br />project team discussed elements of the <br />proposed project, the status of the develop- <br />ment application, and various data needs. <br />Subsequent to the start-up meeting, the <br />approach to environmental review was <br />revised. <br />LSA will also visit the project site to familiarize <br />ourselves with existing conditions and site <br />features. Photographs of the site and adjacent <br />land uses will be obtained during the site visit. <br />2. Data Gathering and Evaluation <br />Existing data and analyses applicable to the <br />project site and vicinity will be collected and <br />evaluated.
