To the extent adequate
detail can be provided, we will review the site plan for:
• Site access and interface with roadway network including corner sight distances and a
review of driveway spacing
• Emergency vehicle access and circulation
• Vehicular circulation and roadway sizing within the site
• Pedestrian access and circulation within and adjacent to the site
• Bicycle access and circulation within and adjacent to the site
• Transit access adjacent to the site
• Pedestrian access to and from transit stops
• Parking supply in comparison to City Code requirements and ITE parking demand to satisfy
the CEQA requirements for the parking analysis
• Review the design for any new public streets for consistency with adopted City's plans and
policies, including truck turning templates for the driveways to Maple Street and the new
Maple Street extension
Task 7 — Documentation
Fehr & Peers will prepare two separate deliverables (1) an interim technical memorandum
documenting the trip generation, distribution, and assignment for the Project, Project Variant, and
cumulative land use assumptions, and (2) the transportation section of the 1548 Maple Street
Development DEIR. These are described below.
Task 71 — Technical Memorandum
We will prepare a technical memorandum documenting the findings of Task 3 for the City's review
and approval. Upon receiving approval of this memorandum, we will prepare the traffic impact
analysis described in Tasks 4 and 5.
Task 7.2 — DEIR Transportation Section
The DEIR transportation section will summarize the results and findings of the previous tasks.
Appendices will include traffic counts, level of service calculations, a list of approved development,
assumptions regarding planned developments, plus other relevant information. We will submit the
administrative draft section to LSA Associates for review. We will incorporate responses to one set
of consolidated comments from LSA into a second administrative draft section of the EIR for
submittal to the City. We will then incorporate one set of consolidated comments from the City into
a final draft EIR section. Fehr & Peers has budgeted 32 hours to revise the draft report into a final
document and 16 hours to respond to public comments. However, the magnitude of the response
to comments effort will not be known until all comments are received and compiled; therefore,
Page 25 of 27
ATTY/AGR/2017/AMENDMENTS/AMEND NO.1 LSA ASSOCIATES INC.
REV: OS -03-17 VR
