Carried by unanimous voice vote and City Council adjourned sine die at 7:33 p.m. 2. Installation of newly elected City Council members Administration of Oath of Office and Presentation of Certificates of Election (301 -06) The City Clerk administered the Oath of Office and presented the Certificates of Election to newly - reelected Council members: Jack Greenalch, Georgi La Berge, and Richard S. Claire. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Nomination and Election of Mayor - Two Year Term The City Clerk called for nominations for the Office of Mayor. Councilman Murray nominated Georgi La Berge for the Office of Mayor. M /S: Stangel /Claire moved that nominations for the Office of Mayor be closed. Carried unanimously by voice vote. Councilwoman Georgi La Berge was selected by acclamation to be the new Mayor of Redwood City and the City Clerk declared Georgi La Berge the new Mayor of Redwood City for a term of two years. Councilman Greenalch thanked his colleagues, City staff, family, friends, and fellow citizens for their support during his term as Mayor.
