EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Funding for this agreement has been granted from the San Mateo County Health System, <br />Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services to support the Redwood City and <br />North Fair Oaks Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Partnership. <br />The SMC Sheriff's Office will work in collaboration with the ACD Abuse Prevention Partnership <br />to decrease harm to youth by reducing underage access to harmful environmental factors <br />influenced by and related to Alcohol and Other Drugs. <br />Specific tasks will include: <br />• Redwood City Police Department and the SMC Sheriff's Office will coordinate 4 decoy <br />operations through Redwood City/North Fair Oaks (RWC/NFO), with emphasis on <br />neighborhoods around Redwood, Sequoia, and Woodside High Schools. <br />• During each operation the law enforcement team will attempt to purchase alcohol from at <br />least 20 stores in the above-mentioned areas. <br />• In partnership with Redwood City 2020, SMC Sheriff's Office will publically acknowledge <br />and recognize merchants for participating in efforts to reduce selling alcohol to youth. <br />• In partnership with Redwood City 2020, SMC Sheriffs Office will support the recruitment <br />of merchants for a Responsible Beverage Service Training, hosted by Beverage <br />Consulting Network, Inc., and Redwood City 2020. <br />• Assigned SMC Sheriff's Office staff will attend monthly Prevention Partnership Steering <br />Committee meetings. <br />• Complete other tasks related the Redwood City 2020 ACD Prevention Partnership as <br />assigned and agreed upon by SM Sheriff's Office and Redwood City 2020. <br />Consultant will invoice Redwood City 2020 at the conclusion of services provided, providing <br />documentation of actions.
