Section 203 of the Housing Code is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> "`Section 203. The Building Inspector is hereby authorized and <br /> empowered to designate representatives of the San Mateo County Department <br /> of Health to act as representatives in investigating violations of, and enforcing <br /> any provision of, the code relating to inadequate light, air, or sanitation facilities, <br /> or any other matter determined by the health officer as likely to cause a building <br /> to be unsanitary, unfit for human habitation or in such a condition that is likely to <br /> cause sickness or disease. When so designated, such representatives shall <br /> have the same powers and duties as the Building Inspector. All references in the <br /> code to the `Health Officer' shall be construed to be references to <br /> representatives of the above-mentioned Department of Health." <br /> "Section 9.63.
