"ARTICLE VIII. ELECTRICAL CODE <br /> "DIVISION 1. ADOPTION OF CODE <br /> "Section 9.110. (a) Pursuant to Section 50022.1, et seq., of the <br /> Government Code and Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, <br /> the National Electrical Code, 1993 Edition, as published by the National Fire <br /> Protection Association, and the Uniform Administrative Code provisions for the <br /> National Electrical Code, 1993 Edition, as published by the International <br /> Conference of Building Officials, are hereby adopted and shall be in effect within <br /> the City of Redwood City to the same extent as if set out in full herein except as <br /> expressly amended by the provisions of this article. <br /> "(b) In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the provisions of <br /> the National Electrical Code, 1993 Edition, hereinafter referred to as the <br /> Electrical Code, or the Uniform Administrative Code provisions for the National <br /> Electrical Code, 1993 Edition, hereinafter referred to as the Uniform <br /> Administrative Code, and the provisions of this chapter, the requirement which <br /> prescribes and establishes the higher standard of safety shall apply unless <br /> otherwise stated in this article." <br /> "Section 9.111.
