'=- "Section 12.9.3. Section 101.6 amended. Section 101.6 of the Fire Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 101.6. ConflictinQ Provisions. The provisions of this code shall be construed to be in addition to all other requirements and no permit or license granted hereunder shall be construed to permit a violation of any other ordinance or regulation of the City. Where there is a conflict between a general requirement and a specific requirement, the specific requirement shall be applicable. "Section 12.10. Section 103.4.5 amended. Section 103.4.5 of the Fire Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 103.4.5. Inspection and Unsafe BuildinQs. (a) Inspection: The Fire Prevention Bureau shall inspect, as often as may be necessary, all buildings and premises (including such other hazards Of appliances as the Chief may designate) for the purposes of ascertaining and causing to be corrected, any conditions which would reasonably tend to cause fire or contribute to its spread, or any violation of the purpose or provisions of this Code and any other law or standard affecting fire safety. (b) Unsafe Buildings: All buildings or structures which are structurally unsafe or which do not provide adequate egress, or which constitute a fire hazard, or are otherwise dangerous to human life, or which, in relation to existing use, constitute a hazard to safety or health or public welfare, by reason of inadequate maintenance, dilapidation, obsolescence, fire hazard, disaster damage or abandonment as specified in this Code or any other effective ordinance, are, for the purpose of this Section, unsafe buildings. All such unsafe buildings are hereby declared to be public nuisances and shall be abated by repair, rehabilitation, demolition, or removal in accordance with the procedures specified in Article II of Chapter 9 of the Code of the City, which procedures the Fire Chief or his authorized representatives shall have the authority to implement, or by any other procedure provided by law.
