MEMBERS-TERM OF OFFICE; APPOINTMENT TO FILL <br />VACANCY; COMPENSATION: <br /> The term of office of each member of the Park and Recreation <br />Commission shall be four (4) years, expiring on May 31 of the fourth year; <br />provided, however, that appointments to the Commission shall be made such <br />that terms shall expire in even-numbered years. Members shall continue to <br />serve until their respective successors are appointed and qualified. In case of <br />vacancy in the Commission, irrespective of cause, a successor shall be <br />appointed by the Council for the unexpired term of such member. Members of <br />the Commission shall serve without compensation." <br />SECTION 4.
