<br /> FXS:dft S )/92 (009/11) <br /> 9/14/92R <br />SECTION 4. Article VI of Chapter 9 of the Redwood City Code <br />is hereby added to read as follows: <br /> "ARTICLE VI. MECHANICAL CODE" <br /> "Section 9.70. (a) Pursuant to Section 50022.1, et <br />seq. , of the Government Code and Section 15 of the Charter <br />of the City of Redwood City, the Uniform Mechanical Code, <br />1991 Edition, as published by the International Association <br />of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials and the International <br />Conference of Building Officials, is hereby adopted and <br />shall be in effect within the City of Redwood City to the <br />same extent as if set out in full herein except as expressly <br />amended by the provisions of this article. <br /> "(b) In the event of any conflict between the <br />provisions of the Uniform Mechanical Code, 1991 Edition, <br />hereinafter referred to as the Mechanical Code, and the <br />provisions of this chapter, the provisions of this chapter <br />shall apply." <br /> "Section 9.71. Section 304 of the Mechanical Code is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "'Section 304. (a) General. Each applicant for <br /> a permit to do work regulated by this code, shall state <br /> in writing on the application form provided for that <br /> purpose, the character of work proposed to be done and <br /> the amount and kind in connection therewith, together <br /> with such information, pertinent thereto, as may be <br /> required. <br /> " , (b) Permit Fees.
