Section 30.4(a) of the Plumbing Code is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "'Section 30.4(a). Every applicant for a permit <br />to do work regulated by this code, shall state in <br />writing on the application form provided for that <br />purpose, the character of work proposed to be done and <br />the amount and kind in connection therewith, together <br />with such information, pertinent thereto, as may be <br />required. <br /> "'Such applicant shall pay to the Building <br />Official for each permit at the time of issuance a fee <br />established by resolution of the City Council. <br />"Section 9.82. Section 401(a) of the Plumbing Code is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "'Section 40l(a). Drainage piping shall be cast <br />iron, galvanized steel, galvanized wrought iron, lead, <br />copper, brass, Schedule 40 ABS DWV, Schedule 40 PVC <br />DWV, extra strength vitrified clay pipe, or other <br />approved materials having a smooth and uniform bore, <br />except that: <br /> "'(1) No galvanized wrought iron or galvanized <br /> steel pipe shall be used underground and shall be <br /> kept at least six (6) inches (152.4 rom) above <br /> ground. Metallic piping shall not be used <br /> underground in those areas underlain by younger <br /> bay mud (see map published by Redwood City <br /> Building Division for approximate locations). <br /> "'(2) ABS and PVC DWV piping installations shall <br /> 9 <br />
