<br /> DES:df ~/21/92R (004/11) <br /> 4/27/92R <br />tenants at the rental dwelling units on the Affected <br />Property. <br /> (b) Relocation Assistance. Every person or family who <br />or which is displaced from his, her or its rental dwelling <br />unit by reason of Code Enforcement proceedings shall be <br />entitled to payment of actual moving and related expenses <br />and additional payments as specified in Government Code <br />Sections 7262 and 7264, respectively, as said sections <br />pertain to displacement caused by code enforcement. Except <br />as otherwise provided in said sections, the amount of said <br />assistance shall be determined by the Director. <br /> (c) Responsibility. The Owner of the Affected <br />Property shall pay, or reimburse the City for, all <br />relocation assistance provided pursuant to this section. <br /> ( d) Advance Assistance. Upon failure of the Owner to <br />pay the relocation assistance pursuant to subdivision (b) of <br />this section on demand of the Director, the Director may <br />authorize payment by the City of such relocation assistance <br />on the account of the Owner. <br /> (e) Abatement Costs. In the event the Owner does not <br />pay relocation assistance pursuant to subdivision (b) of <br />this section upon demand of the Director, such relocation <br />assistance shall be collected as a cost of abatement <br />pursuant to the provisions of Section 9.12 - 9.14 of this <br />Code.
