<br /> DES:dft 8/21/91R (006/10) <br /> 8/26/91R <br /> COpy 9/16/91 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2045 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE XIII OF CHAPTER 18 OF THE <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ADDING ARTICLE <br />XIII TO CHAPTER 18 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY RELATING TO THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT TO REIMBURSEMENT <br />AGREEMENTS; AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 2003 <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Article XIII entitled, "Reimbursement <br />Agreements" of Chapter 18 of the Code of Redwood City is <br />repealed. <br />SECTION 2. Article XIII ( "Reimbursement Agreements" ) is <br />hereby added to Chapter 18 of the Code of the City of Redwood to <br />read as follows: <br /> "ARTICLE XIII. REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENTS" <br /> "DIVISION 1. GENERAL. <br /> "Section 18.200. Purpose, Scope. The purpose of this <br />Article is to provide a procedure by which supplemental <br />size, capacity, numbers, or length of public improvements <br />may be constructed at the original cost of an owner of <br />property benefited by a portion of such improvements and <br />thereafter proportionately reimbursed to said owner by <br />charges imposed upon the owners of other properties based <br />upon the benefits such improvements confer upon said other <br />properties. Without limitation upon the purpose and scope <br />of this Article, this Article implements the provisions of <br />Article VI (commencing with §66485) of Chapter 4, Division <br />2, Title 7 of the Government Code relating to reimbursement <br />to subdividers for that portion of the costs of supplemental <br />\ <br />
