Section 47.106 amended. <br /> Section 47.106 of the Fire Code is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br /> Section 47.106. Watchmen Required During Fumigation. <br /> Where a flammable gas or substance giving rise to a <br />flammable gas, or toxic gas, is used for fumigation, the <br />employer shall be required to maintain (1) breathing <br />apparatus and other apparatus as required by state law; (2 ) <br />conspicuous placards warning of the fumigated areas and <br />health hazards and; (3) a 24-hour supervision by trained <br />personnel in, but not limited to, the proper use of <br />breathing apparatus, from the time the premises have been <br />fumigated until all ventilation work has been completed <br />(approved gastight vaults or tanks are excepted from this <br />requirement). <br /> Section 12.18. Section 80.101 amended. <br /> Section 80.101 of the Fire Code is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br /> Section 80.101. Scope. The purpose of this article is <br />to provide requirements for the prevention, control and <br />mitigation of dangerous conditions related to hazardous <br />materials and to provide information needed by emergency <br />response personnel. Hazardous materials are those chemicals <br />or substances defined as such in Article 9.
