<br /> DAL:dr 10/01/90R (023/8) <br /> DAL:dL_ 10/lS/90R <br /> Oi~IGINAL 10/15/90 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2028 <br /> --------- <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE III, SECTIONS 11. 70 <br />THROUGH 11. 87 OF, AND ADDING ARTICLE III, SECTIONS <br />11.70 THROUGH 11.87 TO, CHAPTER 11 OF THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO CABLE TELEVISION <br />SYSTEMS <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Article III, Sections 11.70 through 11.87 of <br />Chapter 11 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br />repealed. <br />SECTION 2. Article III, Sections 11. 70 through 11.72 is <br />hereby added to Chapter 11 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City to read as follows: <br /> "ARTICLE III <br /> "Cable Television Systems <br /> "Section 11.70. Definitions. For the purposes of this <br />article and for any franchise granted pursuant to the terms <br />thereof, the following terms, phrases, words and their <br />derivations shall have the meaning given herein: <br /> " (a) 'Agreement' means a franchise award ordinance, or <br />a contractual agreement, containing the specific provisions <br />of the franchise granted, including referenced <br />specifications, franchise applications, franchise <br />requirements, ordinances and other related materials, and <br />all amendments thereof. <br /> " (b) 'Cable Television System' also referred to as <br />'Systems' , or 'Cable System' means a facility, consisting of <br />transmission paths and associated signal generation, <br />reception, and control equipment that is designed to provide <br /> "",--.,...- <br />
