7. PUBLIC HEARING — <br />I. Create Special District for the Pacific Shores Center Project: <br />A. PUBLIC HEARING on Pacific Shores Facility District: <br />Mayor Ruskin made opening remarks about the item and William Euphrat explained <br />the background of the need to create a special financing district for public <br />infrastructure improvements incidental to the Pacific Shores Center Project. <br />Mayor Ruskin asked for any written protests to be filed with the City Clerk. No <br />protests were filed. <br />The Public Hearing was opened <br />The Public Hearing was closed — M/S Howard/Claire to close the public hearing. The <br />motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present. <br />B. Council Action: adopt resolutions: (508) <br />1. M/S Claire /Howard to adopt RESOLUTION 13889 OF FORMATION OF <br />COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT AND TO LEVY SPECIAL TAX IN CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2000 -1 (PACIFIC <br />SHORES PROJECT); <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present. <br />2. M/S Claire/Howard to adopt RESOLUTION 13890 DEEMING IT NECESSARY TO <br />INCUR BONDED INDEBTEDNESS IN CITY OF REDWOOD CITY COMMUNITY <br />FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2000-1 (PACIFIC SHORES PROJECT); (508) <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present. <br />2.
