<br /> DES:d 05/17/90 (001/9) <br /> DES:djk OS/21/90R <br /> DES:djk 06/11/90R <br /> Md is the average monthly consumption of water <br /> calculated for each user based upon actual <br /> consumption of such user during the months of <br /> April through November, inclusive, of the <br /> user's base year. <br />(3 ) Notwithstanding the foregoing, no such allotment shall <br /> be less than 10 units in any bi-monthly billing period, <br /> or 5 units in any monthly billing period for water <br /> provided to any single family dwelling unit of any <br /> residential premises. <br />(4 ) Notwithstanding the allotments provided pursuant to (1) <br /> and (2 ) above, in any bi-monthly billing period in <br /> which the factor 0.9 Mw exceeds 40 units or in any <br /> monthly billing period where said factor exceeds 20 <br /> units of water provided to any single family dwelling <br /> unit of any residential premises, the use of water in <br /> excess of said 40 units or 20 units, respectively, <br /> shall be deemed non-essential. <br />(5 ) Notwithstanding the allotments provided pursuant to (1) <br /> and (2 ) above, for any month in which the actual <br /> consumption of water is less than the corresponding <br /> allotment for said month, the difference between said <br /> allotment and the actual consumption shall be credited <br /> toward any use of water in excess of the individual <br /> monthly allotments in any succeeding months; provided, <br /> that said credits shall be applied in each instance <br /> against the amount of excess usage to the greatest <br /> effect to reduce the amount of excess, such that <br /> credits shall not be retained or accumulated when <br /> excess usage occurs. <br />(b) Specific Uses Prohibited. Any of the following <br />methods, types, or techniques of use, or activities or <br />circumstances relating to, or associated with, water use: <br />(1) Defective Equipment - Use of water through, with, or by <br /> any plumbing, sprinkler, watering or irrigation system, <br /> or other device, equipment or appliance which is broken <br /> or defective, or which, for any reason, consumes or <br /> fails to use water in the ordinary and customary manner <br /> or quantity for which it was designed, constructed or <br /> manufactured. <br />(2 ) Surface Flow - Any use of water in any manner which <br /> causes, allows or permits the flooding of any premises, <br /> or any portion thereof, or which causes, allows, or <br /> permits water to escape from any premises or any <br /> portion thereof and flow therefrom into gutters, <br /> streets, or any surface water drainage system. <br /> 5 <br /> - _........- <br />
