<br /> ~".., DES:d;k 11/07/89 (029/7) <br /> DES:, 1 11/13/89R <br /> DEC 04 1989 ORIGfNAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2004 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 9.2, 9.40, 9.60, 9.70, <br />9.80, AND 9.110, AND ADDING DIVISION 4 TO ARTICLE IX OF <br />CHAPTER 9 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />RELATING TO THE AVAILABILITY OF CODES ADOPTED BY <br />REFERENCE, ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE UNIFORM BUILDING <br />CODE, 1988 EDITION, THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE <br />STANDARDS, 1988 EDITION, THE UNIFORM BUILDING SECURITY <br />CODE, 1988 EDITION, THE UNIFORM HOUSING CODE, 1988 <br />EDITION, THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE, 1988 EDITION, THE <br />UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, 1988 EDITION, AND THE NATIONAL <br />ELECTRICAL CODE, 1987 EDITION, AND ESTABLISHING A <br />SEISMIC HAZARD IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM, RESPECTIVELY <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 9.2 of the Redwood City Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 9.2. Copies of each publication adopted by <br />reference in this Chapter shall be kept on file in the <br />office of the Building Official and shall be available there <br />for public inspection. Additionally, one (1) copy 0 f each <br />publication adopted by reference in this Chapter shall at <br />all times be kept on file in the office of the City Clerk <br />and likewise shall be available there for public <br />inspection." <br />SECTION 2. Section 9.40 of the Redwood City Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 9.40. Adoption by Reference; Conflicting <br />Provisions. (a) Pursuant to Section 50022.1, et seq. , of <br />the Government Code and Section 15 of the Charter of the <br />City of Redwood City, the following codes, standards and <br />regulations are hereby adopted and shall be in effect with <br />the City of Redwood City to the same extent as if set out in <br />~- - ~_.~-"_"._--"----",..._..-,-,.~--,..~...__.- <br />
