<br /> - DES:d-il( 11/07/89 (029/7) <br />equipment or supplies; and (iii) buildings which have been <br />structurally revised substantially in accordance with the <br />1973, or a later, edition of the Uniform Building Code, or <br />the provisions of Division 88 of the Standards for <br />Unreinforced Masonry Buildings of the City of Los Angeles, <br />California (a copy of which is on file in the office of the <br />Building Official). <br /> "Section 9.143. Notification. The Building Official <br />shall conduct, or cause to be conducted, a survey of <br />unreinforced masonry buildings in the City and within six <br />(6 ) months of the effective date of the ordinance adding <br />this Division 4 to Artie Ie IX of Chapter 30 of the Redwood <br />City Code the Building Official shall given written notice <br />of the requirements of Section 9.142 to the owners of record <br />as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of property <br />on which unreinforced masonry buildings are located. <br />Notwithstanding the foregoing, if an owner of any such <br />unreinforced masonry building is not the owner of the <br />property upon which it is located and either said Assessor's <br />records or City records distinguish such ownership, said <br />notice shall be given both to the owner of the property and <br />the owner of the unrein forced masonry building. <br /> Such notice shall be given in writing and shall be <br />mailed or delivered personally to said owners. Notice by <br />mail shall be deposited with the U.S. Mail Service, first <br />class (or equivalent) postage prepaid. The Building <br />Official shall retain a copy of the notice and an affidavit <br /> 8 <br /> 2004 <br />.- _.. "-,--.".-- <br />
