DES:mw' 05/23/89R (#8/001) <br /> DES:mn 06/13/89R <br /> DES:mmg 07/06/89R <br /> DES:mmg 07/13/89R JUL 2 4 1989 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1999 <br /> ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 24 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF NOISE <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1 . Chapter 24 is hereby added to the Code of the <br /> City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> "Chapter 24. <br /> "NOISE REGULATION" <br /> "Article I. General <br /> "Section 24. 1 . Administration. The provisions of this <br /> Chapter shall be administered by the Chief of Police and his or <br /> her authorized representatives , except where expressly provided <br /> otherwise. All other officers and employees of the City shall <br /> assist and cooperate in the administration and enforcement of <br /> this Chapter. <br /> "Section 24. 2. (a) Specific Definitions. For the purposes <br /> of this Chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the <br /> meanings respectively ascribed thereto: <br /> (1) 'Dwelling Unit' means a structure or portion <br /> thereof, designed or used exclusively for residential <br /> occupancy. <br /> (2) 'Emergency Work' means essential activities <br /> necessary to restore, preserve, protect or save lives or <br /> property from imminent danger of loss or harm. <br /> (3) 'Enforcement Officer' means the Chief of Police or <br /> 1 999 <br />
