<br /> DES:djJ<- 04/27/89 (022/7) <br />but consistent with the current CG zoning district designation <br />has been made, and is now pending, with respect to a single <br />parcel of land located on the Subject Property. <br /> g. The proposed land use would include the sale on site of <br />certain alcoholic beverages. <br /> h. The Subject Property is located in the vicinity of <br />lands devoted primarily to residential uses which, heretofore, <br />have required a disproportionate amount of police and other <br />public safety services from the City of Redwood City concerning, <br />among other matters, citizen disturbances, loitering, the <br />accumulation of debris, building safety, and other conditions <br />leading to the general down-grading of the Subject Property and <br />the residential premises in the vicinity thereof. <br /> i. The foregoing activities and conditions have been <br />associated, in part, with loitering and excessive consumption of <br />alcoholic beverages, particularly in public places. <br /> j . As a result of intensive efforts by the city, through <br />enforcement of public safety regulations (including, but not <br />limited to, the City's Building Codes, the Zone Ord. , and the <br />City's Fire Code) many of the foregoing activities and conditions <br />have been alleviated. <br /> k. If the pending application, or applications to be made <br />in the near-future for land uses consistent with the existing <br />zoning (particularly uses permitting the sale of alcoholic <br />beverages) , but inconsistent with the aforesaid proposed zoning <br />(to the IR zoning district) were granted, the above-described <br /> 2 <br /> 1995 <br />-- - <br />
