ORIGINAL <br />CONTRIBUTED FUNDS AGREEMENT <br />AGREEMENT NO. 16 -WC -20-4931 <br />Between the <br />Bureau of Reclamation, Mid -Pacific Region <br />and the <br />City of Redwood City <br />for the <br />Central Redwood City Recycled Water Project Environmental Compliance Documentation <br />Introduction - This Contributed Funds Agreement (Agreement) for the Central Redwood City <br />Recycled Water Project � Env�Aonmental Assessment (Assessment) is entered into on this <br />day of _'ZA(%pursuant to §1604 of Title XVI of Public Law (P.L.) <br />102-275 and the Sundry Civil Appropriations Act of March 4, 1921, (41 Stat. 1040; 43 USC <br />395), between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation of the <br />State of California (City), and the United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of <br />Reclamation, Mid -Pacific Region. This Agreement provides a mechanism for the City to <br />transfer $27,601 in funds (Contributed Funds) to Reclamation for assisting the City in <br />conducting an Environmental Assessment for the Central Redwood City Recycled Water <br />Project (Project). The City and Reclamation are hereinafter referred to as "the Parties." <br />Background - Title XVI of P.L. 102-575 authorizes Reclamation to participate in evaluating <br />the feasibility of water recycling projects. This Agreement is a continuation of the ongoing <br />feasibility study partially funded by Cooperative Agreement No. RI IAC20150, The Project <br />will extend the existing recycled water distribution system from the Bayfront area of <br />Redwood City into Central Redwood City. The Project entails the construction of 2.5 miles <br />of pipelines ranging in diameter from S to 30 inches. This Project will deliver 274 acre-feet <br />per year of recycled water. <br />3. Responsibilities - Responsibilities of the Parties to this Agreement are as follows: <br />a. Reclamation's Responsibilities <br />(1) Reclamation will assist the City in its preparation of environmental and cultural <br />resource documents referred to in Section 3.13.1, infra. <br />(2) When funds contributed by the City are no longer needed by Reclamation due to the <br />completion of work or termination of this Agreement, Reclamation's Finance <br />Officer will determine the amount of excess funds available and will return the <br />remaining funds to the City within 90 days of the date of such determination. <br />Contributed Funds Agreement — City of Redwood City Pagel of4 <br />
