Said <br />Flood Insurance Study is on file with office of the City <br />Engineer. Said Flood Insurance Study is the minimum area of <br />applicability of this chapter and may be supplemented by <br />studies for other areas which allow implementation of this <br />chapter and which are recommended to the City Council by the <br />Floodplain Administrator." <br /> "Section 41.8. Penalty. No structure or land shall <br />hereinafter be constructed, located, extended, converted, or <br />altered without full compliance with the terms of this <br />chapter and other applicable regulations. Any person <br />violating any provisions of this chapter or failing to <br />comply with any of its requirements (including violations of <br />conditions and safeguards established in connection with <br />conditions) shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and <br />upon conviction thereon, shall be punished as set forth in <br />Section 1.7 of this Code. Nothing herein shall prevent the <br />City or other appropriate authority from taking such lawful <br />action as is necessary to prevent or remedy any violation." <br /> "Section 41.9. Abrogation and Greater Restrictions. <br />This chapter is not intended to repeal, abrogate, or impair <br />any existing easements, covenants, or deed restrictions. <br />However, where the provisions of this chapter conflict or <br />overlap with other provisions of this Code, or provisions of <br />easements, covenants, or deed restrictions, whichever <br />imposes the more stringent restrictions shall prevail." <br /> 12 <br /> -.--."... <br />
