O. Council Member Jordan stated concerns about modifications at Bridge and Marina <br />Parkway. City Manager Everett stated staff had met with concerned individuals who <br />proposed traffic flow plans and a traffic consultant has been hired to review those <br />proposals. The bid allows for Bridge Parkway and Marine Parkway as an add alternate, to <br />be accepted or rejected. (304) <br />M/S Jordan/Ira to adopt RESOLUTION 13958 APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />FOR THE REDWOOD SHORES STREET SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; AND <br />AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS THERFOR. The motion <br />passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br />8. BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES REPORTS — <br />Mayor Ruskin stated that City Council appoints volunteers to boards, committees and <br />commissions. He explained the role of the Port Commission and the Housing and Human <br />Concerns Committee. Mayor Ruskin stated that Virginia Ball had withdrawn her name due to <br />her recent appointment to the Civic Cultural Commission and Bruce Codding withdrew his <br />name for consideration from the Housing and Human Concerns Committee. Mayor Ruskin <br />thanked everyone who applied and asked City Clerk Howe to conduct the voting process. <br />City Clerk Howe explained the voting process to be by roll call. First the Board of Port <br />Commission then the Housing and Human Concerns Committee appointments were conducted. <br />The successful nominees were announced after voting was completed in each category. The <br />following is the vote tally. <br />I) Appointments to the following Commissions and Committees: <br />A. Board of Port Commission - Two (2) for five (5) year terms expiring July of <br />2005; <br />• Larry Aikins <br />• Virginia Ball — withdrawn from consideration <br />• Michael Bursak <br />• Bruce Codding <br />• Dick Dodge <br />• Gerard Dowdall <br />• Joel A.
